An idea sparks the imagination of a young entrepreneur, becoming the blue-print behind the Utah Entrepreneur Challenge. Hundreds of students across the State of Utah fuse together their ideas in one event that combines the spirit of entrepreneurship and the resources of successful business owners. Competing for $100,000 in cash and in-kind services, students have been engineering their ideas into a formal business plans since 1999.  Created by a group of devoted students at The University of Utah, the UEC offers one of the largest cash prizes for any collegiate-level business plan competition in the United States and has enjoyed much success and prestige throughout its history, jump starting the careers of many students' in entrepreneurship.
